The name of the song is "Te Busco" by Celia Cruz, the finest Cuban singer of all time. The album is Azucar Negra, and it is wonderful. I am Cuban born, American bred, but this song, well, it reminds me of my very brief childhood in Cuba. Dance to it w/the one you love. Best. Fernando

I too just saw this film and thoroughly enjoyed it! The song during the closing credits is an instrumental, ie. no lyrics. It cannot be "Te Busco" sung by Celia Cruz. I too want this song in my collection! Is it on the soundtrack!? And I see at least two soundtracks available.
The piece is a guitar work that builds and builds to a crescendo and then - it ends. Period. The guitar was very tasty.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
      Jim

I just caught the closing credit trail with this divine guitar instrumental playing over - kind of a psychedelic/phish/jamming style that just rolls on - please can anyone come up with the artist/band who did this? If it was in the closing credits, it was too small for my bad eyes to read 😞
Manny many thanks in advance for any music guru who can come up with the answer!

that theme was part of the original music written by Paul Kelly. I checked the soundtrack tracklist, and it appears to be omitted.
The guitarist for the soundtrack sessions was Shane O'Mara, who plays and has played with the following bands:
          Walters Orthodontic Teeth
          Terra Australis 19?? Paul Williams
Third Floor Richard 198? Tony Hicks
          The Dance
The Trees 1986 Rebecca Barnard, Simon Dawe, John McCall, Greg Riddell, Peter Robertson
          Stephen Cummings Band 1986
          Stephen Cummings' Lovetown 1988
The Drawcards 1990 Vika and Linda, Deborah Conway, Stephen Cummings, Dror Erez, Tim Finn, Ross Hannaford, Peter Jones, Chris Wilson
          Stephen Cummings Band 1990-1991
Triple Peaks 1991 Rebecca Barnard, Terry Bartholomew, Al Harding, John McCall, Bill McDonald, Shelly Scown, Kerri Simpson
          Chris Wilson Band 1992
          Crown Of Thorns 1992
          Joe Creighton Band 1992

Te Busco was not the song that played during the ending credits.
            Anyone know what it was?

The great instrumental played during the closing credits to Lantana was by Juancyto Martinez called "Que Sabes Tu De Amor" (2000).

The great instrumental song played during the ending credits seems to be "Let's Tangle" by Paul Kelly's band called Professor Ratbaggy.
