Tharries doesn't hate it. I think he's just trying to digest it and while being 21 years old (Or is it 23) makes him a man. Things like the covid rules will still be a fairly fresh situation and how he understands it might not be the same as someone with another couple of years on him
I'm glad you can now say that you've seen Gavin and Stacey Bobby, I can't and so you've got some more experience on the matter than I
Benny will be fine. He might even get to get a sick line and be able to live without working for a while

Well I’ve just listened to Tharries whilst doing other things (using my new wireless headphones) and he didn’t say anything about the COVID stuff other than he liked it.
His other videos are all about things like what Doctor Who apparently ‘beat’ in the ratings, bless him.

You'd need your headphones for his review of Joy to the World because he's in a hallway and using his phone's mic for pick-up (It was really low volume).
Tharries seems to have picked up his idea of how Who will go Bobby

Well what about the COVID stuff that you mentioned? What did I miss?!!
Also Tharries has Who Fatigue so his opinions of where it will go will be bleak and grim.

I think Doctor Who was the first proper piece of fictional entertainment to mention covid and all the troubles it caused so many Bobby.
Add Christmas and a sacrifice to it and it ruffles feathers so far unruffled and it might make a few people upset.
But it had to be done at some point and I think Doctor Who went about it rather daintily but with resolve
For some people though it was too much and too soon

Well I don’t think it was soon ENOUGH!!! You should have seen Sally Ann before COVID…I mean she was hardly a social butterfly I grant you but she would come out a little bit more than she does now. She used to walk around outside normally too…these days she just scurries.

I think everyone having to be tight lipped about it for fear of being thrown out of work or social media really battered folk up quite badly Bobby
Add to that the people who died alone in hospital (Which you don't have to go to far to find within your social groups) and the poor Queen alone at Philips funeral and the message is quite a dark one which hasn't been resolved yet for many people.
And then you have the Downing Street parties and affairs with a whole bunch of rule breakers and all of a sudden it takes on a serious and angry tone.
I'm sure Sally will recover her former self to some agree and be back to her usual more friendly self but until everyone as recovered it will take a bit of time for those exploring those areas before to have everyone else want to do so too.
I think Joy to the World helped address a little aspect of that and it was much needed

Having to isolate on her own almost destroyed poor Sally. She has underlying health conditions due to a weakened immune system so it was the full jobber for her! I would get her items from the supermarket though (knocking on the door and leaving them on her doorstep as I waved from the gate) and often speak to her on Zoom. 🙂

That does sound quite harsh for poor Sally Bobby
But is all seems to be over for now and so hopefully she won't have to go through anything like that again
And you both got to practice with Zoom and so that's a new skill

I’ve come to loathe Zoom and everything which covid brought us and I’ll tell you why…it suddenly made people realise they’re unsociable after all and prefer it that way. We are all less friendly with each other as a result OH and they stopped having little bowls of Bombay mix in the little areas in I dian restaurants where you wait for your table or takeaway to be ready. That never came back after covid.

Well I was on the road for a very long time Bobby and so the sociable aspect thing had already been altered for me in ways difficult to describe to people who form long-standing interpersonal relationships with people they see often
But I can imagine if you are used to seeing the same people often then not being able to it would suck.
As for the Bombay mix, you should make your own. You an get the ratios more to your own liking and flavour it up or down to suit your personal tastes too Bobby

Yes but you can’t take your home made Bombay mix into Indian restaurants and munch on it in the little area where you wait to be shown to your table.

There's a shop near me that sells the individual components and so I can get the nuts, garlic noodles and little pretzel bits and mix them up as I see fit Bobby

No, the shop I use is a ethnic centred shop used by people who are used to buying these items back in their original countries Bobby. So it's authentic and you can get some tips on things to try and stay away from depending on what sort of experience you are looking for
I'm sure the Tesco stuff is stop class and cheaper but that's all Tesco does as you might notice from how little people who work there talk to customers (Or customers with each other).

If I was at someone's house though (Or an Indian restaurant) I'd certainly tuck in if they were available
I just want some BOMBAY MIX and FAST!!! 😊
                                      It’s hot and it’s spicy and it’s CHEEEEEEEEKY! 😏🤭🤪😋🫠

Bombay is a hard, fast and slovenly time Bobby. The different textures and spices mean that every mouthful is different and you never quite know how to approach it

Maybe you could go to that ethnic shop tomorrow and make some and post a picture on the boards for all to see! 😊
