Anyone else think this was worse than A Good Day To Die Hard?

OK, so "A Good Day To Die Hard" was really lame and not in anyway a Die Hard film, but I think it was slightly more tolerable than this one. This one has everything that makes the other one disappointing but less action, worse CGI, more boring locations and a really lame villain.
Both films are insulting to the Die Hard franchise, but this one more so IMO. -

They're both intolerable cruelty to view, but you're right,..DHINO 2 reeks of piss just a fraction less than DHINO 1. The one thing I can say about both these dire exercises in awfulness however, is that I don't EVER want to see either one again. Both films are pure excrement.

"A Good Day To Die Hard" was completely lacking in plot, characters, dialogue and was utterly stupid, but at least the car chase scene was pretty well shot and all the car wrecks were fun to watch, even if completely inane. Having said that though, Willis seemed like a psychopath who didn't have a care in the world for all the innocent motorists whose lives he was endangering.
However, it was still more entertaining than any of the scenes in "Live Free or Die Hard". A lot of ropey looking CGI in this one, especially the fighter jet scene. -

I can't imagine how anyone would prefer AGDTDH. I didn't think it was as bad as people said it was (I give it a 6/10), but LFoDH was way better.
And I can't imagine for the life of me how anyone could prefer this to Die Hard 3. -

Technically, "Live Free" would probably be considered the better movie of the two. At least during the action scenes you could tell who was chasing whom, and at least they didn't recycle McClane's old audio from "Die Hard 3" and incorporate it in "Live Free." A Good Day feels like a very bad Die Hard movie, whereas "Live Free" feels more like a generic Bruce Willis action movie. Fun, but not a whole lot of depth.
I did enjoy how during a few scenes in "A Good Day" Bruce acted a little more like the McClane from the original trilogy. Too bad the script was such garbage. -

AGDTDH was an abomination!!! It was a horrible movie by any standards. Even if it had not been part of the DH franchise, it still is a pretty horrible film. LFODH is oodles better than that travesty.

For all the love/hate that this film gets. I still feel its better that AGDTDH. Considering that Die Hard 3 was based off a script called "Simon Says' and the film's first hour adheres to that storyline pretty much. Adding McClane to the mix, plus a nod to DH1 was brilliant.
Mr. Argumentative sums it up nicely though. DH4 is a standard Bruce Willis action film masquarading as a Die Hard sequel. -
