It's not a speculative question. It's a rhetorical question. The answer is obviously that without Trump lying to his easily fooled followers there would never have been January 6th. He led America to the events of that day. And he'll go to jail for it.

The Democratic leadership chose a candidate, Harris, who was pretty far left - and ended up making the election more of a battle about policy. If they had found a Democrat senator or Governor nearer the middle, who was a good speaker, the Democrats probably would be winning this election clearly. -
