Every liberal needs to watch the last segment of Bill's show on 1/27/2017. He is 100% right.

Yes because republicans are fine with people being rich if they so much as pretend to listen. You dont the JFK was rich? Yet every poor catholic workingclass man in America voted for him twice and had their dead grandfather vote too. They dont want you to be like them. They understand theyre not politicians. Thats why they join unions and even elect leaders for the workers. They just want someone to listen, to act like them, talk like them, to make them feel like theyre heard. Trumps a populist, he listened.

Tho I agree with almost all of it. As a native the Washington post poll about natives and redskin was only half true. Indian country . Com did a poll and over 70% of natives hate the term redskin . Also I'm not to upset about the native Halloween coustumes . But some put our woman down showing to much skin and saying sexy Indian girl . Which 1/3 native women are sexually assaulted and it's due to stuff like this. The male ones I don't mind unless they say savage .

Dannysich,
I think that any team that is going to use a person or group of people as their mascot should have to get permission from that group to use it. Like what Florida State University does. It is my understanding that the Seminole tribe not only wants them to use their name but has to approve everything they do and even provides the uniforms and other things. However, many liberals who do not know of this arrangement at FSU freak out and call FSU racist and demand a name change. Which goes back to this point by Bill tonight. Liberals just start saying something is offensive and don't even know that facts behind it.
Was the poll done on Indian Country a scientific poll? I ask because usually newspapers have scientific polls that are supposed to be accurate and things online are usually non-scientific (ballot box stuffing) and not accurate.
P.S. I'm 25% Irish and I think I should be offended by Notre Dame's use of "Fighting Irish." What are they trying to say, we are all drunks who get into fights? And a bunch of leprechauns? -

And as long as Black Lives Matter, La Raza, & every other kooky far left group continue to hijack your party you'll continue to lose.
Well, the idea that it's just IMPOSSIBLE for the Democrats to win with the way the Democratic party now exists certainly fits the right wing fantasy that they won a GIANT MANDATE, and the election was a HISTORIC LANDSLIDE.
But it doesn't really fit the facts that almost 3 million more people voted for Hillary than Trump, and that in most of the swing states won by Trump, he won by just a slim margin, in an election where a good many people on the left refused to vote for Hillary because they specifically don't like her. Or because they were outraged by the DNC's treatment of Bernie. -

The problem is this is your STEREOTYPE of "liberals" and I haven't seen ANY of these type of liberals on THIS board in a long time.
The extremism on the left is a problem, but a "card-carrying Democrat" should also be concerned with extremism on the right, especially since it's threatening to take over the country right now! I'm still a registered REPUBLICAN and I only voted for Hilary as a last-ditch effort to stop Trump. I would have vastly preferred Jeb Bush or Mitt Romney or any number of other people (including the socialist Sanders) to EITHER of these two. But it has nothing to do with "political correctness". Hilary was the lesser of two evils, but we now have the worst possible person in the White House and I'm STILL hoping for the best. Funny though, all the self-proclaimed "liberals" are still going on about what a bad president Obama was and what a terrible candidate Hilary was. Yeah, like that's the real problem NOW.
If Trump runs this country into the ground (and he's off to a good start) are you going to continue to insist that the biggest problem facing America is a bunch of "PC liberals" and "social justice warriors"? How long is the bubble-headed charade going to last?

But you lose me and most other people with this far left extremist bullsh!t all the time. Enough with being offended by everything and trying to shame everyone and call everyone a racist, sexist, etc. That is why you are losing and have lost many people.
Fascinating he would say this..considering he has contributed to this atmosphere quite a bit. But I guess he's seen the light.

He's been a vocal critic of political correctness since basically forever. I don't see how he of all people is supposed to have contributed to this.
The OP referred to the tactic of labeling people who don't agree with you racist, sexist, etc. And that is something I've seen Maher do quite a few times. So I'm glad (if he indeed is now criticizing this) he now realizes this is not a smart tactic.
