Sheen is a comedic gem. He has perfect timing.
Everything seemed so effortless… natural.
They all played off each other perfectly.
I'm watching the first season now.

Now that Good Omens Season 2 is out, I plan on giving that a watch tonight. Can't wait to see this since I enjoyed Season 1 so very much. Given there was nothing to base a 2nd season off of, I'm curious as to how this will pan out.

Having canceled Netflix a while back, I'm not familiar with Good Omens. I had to look it up. Sounds interesting….
I'm a little confused.
Not quite sure as to what this has to do with Two and a Half Men.
The Sheen in that show isn't a reletive of Charlie…

Good Omens is on Prime.
Has nothing to do with Two and a Half Men, just had something to do with "what we're watching now" and it popped into my head.

ok…
That's what happens when I go off for the night and come back the next day. I forget half of what was being discussed. I guess that I should have reread the whole thread and refreshed my memory.
I don't get Prime either.

Where are you watching Two and a Half Men? Is that on Netflix? I'd like to watch that again from the very beginning. I don't think there was a single bad episode.

I don't remember this but holy **** this is funny. @ 00:34 Charlie looked and sounded like Jack Torrance. Sheen could have been the one who Spielberg wanted, someone who could make you believe he went from good person who went into madness.

Charlie
could
be good and go bad… on screen and off.
Now, am I missing something?
Spielberg didn't direct The Shining. That was Kubrick.

Yes but he hated the casting of Jack Nicholson. A big reason King made the movie again himself in 1997 casting Steven Weber.

I see…
I wasn't all that crazy about Nicholson at the time, and having read the book, I was confused by Kubrick's interpretation, like many others… and as you say, that included King.
I have gotten over that. It's a good horror movie on it's own, and that's what Kubrick wanted to make.
As for King's TV mini series, I liked it. I liked Steven Webber as Jack. That's the Jack I remember from the book… Wendy too.
My only problem biggest problem with both adaptations was the casting of both boys. One seemed drugged. The other overacted IMO.
I wasn't wild about the cook, Halloran, in the mini series either. Too bad they didn't have Ozzie Davis.
Just my thoughts, and if you have come this far, I salute you!

That episode with Evelyn ending up frightening Charlie's new girl was priceless! It was so unexpected! I loved it!
Both Evelyn and Berta were beloved characters. I always enjoyed them.
As for Rose? She always cracks me up.
Side note…
I had no idea that the actress who played her had her first acting gig in one of my favorite movies!
Have you ever seen Peter Jackson's Heavenly Creatures?
It's based on a true story.
I only knew this a couple of years ago

In 1994, it became public knowledge that Perry had been convicted for murder as a teenager while living in Christchurch, New Zealand. In 1954, at the age of fifteen, she and her 16-year-old friend Pauline Parker murdered Parker's mother, Honorah Rieper. After serving a five-year sentence for the murder, she changed her name and returned to the United Kingdom. She was identified by journalists following the release of the movie Heavenly Creatures, directed by Peter Jackson, in which Kate Winslet portrays Hulme (Perry).

I loved him in Ferris Bueller's Day Off!! I'm not sure if he coked out as well, but I think I remember him saying he stayed awake for a few days/nights straight to get the look down right. It totally worked.
