Well I’m not really bothered about all of that as I’m trying to keep my blood pressure down. I just want Russell to give us some good entertaining Who and put it back at the forefront of popular culture as he promised he would. Every time I go somewhere in the UK with tourists be it Liverpool, York and the capital itself I see Harry Potter, The Beatles and even Peaky Blinders being pushed with merch but no Doctor Who, not these days. Russell is failing us in the only way which matters to me.
I'm all up on it now Bobby.
I want every new Doctor to be have been a war torn child who isn't white or straight and preferable born anywhere else in the world other than the UK
And we need to be reminded about all of that every single time they are on screen. To not do it is all the bad things. Let's smother all these great actors with pointing out their place of birth, skin tone and sexuality (Gender too if they have one!)
The only way to progress is to point out differences from how people were 100 years ago and never let up on it
And t-shirts and merch for people lke you to buy to Bobby

He tried to establish that shore wearing down rocks thing, that could go somewhere if mapped out properly. What he needs is to get off his multiple franchise ideas and back to Who alone. Be the overall showrunner but give Who to someone who only has to think about Who, everyone else has to limit themselves to that being the central point.
But his hubris is too much and he's thinking he's unstoppable and so let the lesson be learned. We always have our fanfictions (And to be honest, most of the best story that make it to film are written by former fan ficcers!)

Somebody once told me about Big Flourish, comic strips and the like when I asked him if they were canon ‘it’s canon until the show contradicts it and then it isn’t’. Well that is a STUPID RULE!! How can something be both canon and none canon.

That was a silly episode with that big giant Cyberman but I liked it and found it to be a fun Christmas romp all the same. Anyway they used to say the same rubbish with the old Star Wars expanded universe once more filmed Star Wars started coming out ‘nnnyyyeeehhh it’s still canon until George does summat else!’. They’re saying it again now with new canon because they can’t keep it straight.

OK well this is a photo that I came across in ‘The Beatles Story’ in Liverpool. The Beatles Story is a walkthrough attraction and part museum which tells the story of the Beatles in a sort of chronological order and has you walking through mock ups of that club in Hamburg, The Cavern, NEMS music shop, Abbey Road Studios and others…even past a Magical Mystery Tour bus and inside a Yellow Submarine. Along the way there are various items to look at from The Beatles career such as George Harrison’s original guitar and Brian Epstein’s coat. It’s all a real treat for a Beatles fan ANYWAY whilst walking through the section on Beatlemania I came across this photo enlarged on a wall. A couple of the people in it look really familiar to me and two of the ones at the front appear to be wearing quite modern clothing. Maybe this clothing would not be out of place in the latter 1960s but I’ve researched and the photo was taken at a Beatles concert in Manchester in 1963…though this could be wrong. So…time travellers?! WHO ARE THEY?!!
