the subway stations didn't have CCTV to enable a shortlist of suspects leaving to be made? Or any of the other crime scenes had no CCTV cameras anywhere nearby? Spot the same person twice and they've got them these days.
She didn't leave DNA at any scene, including when she was hit on the arm by a crowbar, causing a significant wound? BTW that blood would also have revealed the suspect was female.

I realize this is an old post but I had the same problem with the subway. Don't they have cameras on them now? I liked the movie but found it hard to believe that she wasn't caught on camera.

I know nothing about subways, but it sure would seem that there would have been cameras.

Yeah I was wondering the same thing. I know you gotta go with some artistic license, but I found that a step too far.

Even thought it was only made 5 years ago it seems to be set mainly in the 1970s judging by the fashions and the attitudes. They didn't have as much CCTV or DNA in the 1970s. Although the references to Radiohead were a bit of an anachronism

It was set in modern day NY, but was re-doing the 70s vigilante plot.

Cell phones and text messages in the 70s?
