WTF? It doesn't hold up well to you because it's the anti-Marvel movie. It's hold on realism. It's not an adventure/comedic movie like Marvel's movies. The action doesn't drive the film

Begins was the ONLY one with any realism. After that, the other ones are filled with mistakes, plot holes, bad film making and stupidity. Also, just because it isn't CGI doesn't mean it is realistic. Falling out of a skyscraper onto a car, and both of them are ok? Pump some blood into a guy's arm before he goes splat and you'll fool the CIA?

But it was his first film in that particular incarnation. It'll be like the new Spider-Man or what Marvel did with Incredible Hulk. Even The Book of Eli. It establishes a universe if not a particular character trait.

Keeping it to super hero movies. (I don't know how you can call stuff like Michael Clayton an origin story but I digress)
1.Iron Man
2. Spiderman 2002
3. Captain America The First Avenger
Not a fan of what Nolan did to Batman. Ant-Man wasn't very good.
