This is the first Marvel superhero where the hero has a kid.
(Okay I guess HawkeyeNOW, but a bit different)
Marvel 2015: Agents of Shield, Agent Carter, Avengers 2, Daredevil, Ant-Man, Jessica Jones!

I literally just came from a site that calls Ant-Man better than The Thomas Crown Affair.
Both of them when you think about it.

Good movie, could have been great if they'd kept Wright on.

Wright is as overrated as it gets. All he ever brought to the table was ego and trouble. He's still costing them. Some of those few bad reviews were from Wright fans.

Bleeding Edge Armor confirmed for Civil War!
Here is a description of the Bleeding Edge Armor from the Iron Man wiki
This armor made Iron Man the most powerful hero in the world. It can go toe to toe with Thor and savagely beat an amped Red Hulk. Its power source has been described as a man made star. This entire armor is kept inside Tonys body until mentally commanded, at which point it manifests itself as the Iron Man Armor. The armor is made up of Nano-Machines that can now be commanded to turn into any type of structure upon Starks skin. For example, the Nano-machines can turn into clothes, other armors, or even different beings completely, by having the Nano-machines change their properties into whatever Stark wants them to be. It can also dissociate to transform into the Iron Man armor whenever Stark wishes. The armor and Starks own transhuman body are powered by the high-yield R.T. node mounted in his chest. The high output of the node has greatly augmented Starks intelligence and provided him with superhuman-level multitasking and learning capabilities. The previous armor , Extremis armor , was enough to defeat The Sentry , who was at the time the most powerful superhero in the world, and the Bleeding Edge armor was much more powerful than the Extremis armor so that implies that Tony can easily defeat the sentry while in the Bleeding edge armor which makes him far more superior than any of his enemies. The known weaponry includes repulsors, uni-beam, pulse bolts, tasers, and an energy blade. Defenses include deflector shields. Other type of weapons and upgrades seems to be created by Starks imagination, such as a boxing glove, large guns extending from his arms, or cannons. The suits repulsors, which are located around the knuckles, chest, back and legs of the armor, as well as in the traditional palms, now function also as cameras, or eyeballs, which afford Stark a 360-degree panoramic view around himself.

Having now seen it, I agree that it is the best origin film since
              Iron Man
              .

Watch the numbers stay steady now. Word of mouth means everyone will have to see this eventually.

Marvel Studios definitely strikes a balance between the ingenuity of Wrights original concept for this movie and its rather cool ability to be part of a phase of superhero films with bigger objectives.

                      Iron Man 10/10
                      Ant-Man 9/10
Neither film could ever be rated under 9/10 if you're being truly honest with your ratings.

That's 19/20 if you add it up.
What a batting average that would be.

The end credit scene here is the first scene of the new Civil War trailer. Nice call there.

"When Scott Lang/Ant-Man shrinks to his half-inch size, the audience gets a whole new perspective on the world around him. Intent on creating the most photorealistic imagery as possible when Ant-Man is ant-sized, a dedicated macro unit acquired macro photography of partial re-created sets, with DNeg adopting a complex focus stacking and image stitching technique for realizing appropriate depth of field."

Why would anyone doubt that Marvel has done it again? Every year for the past five years Marvel has placed at least one film in the top three of the year in terms of "best" films. Why would this year be any different?
