How much of the foul language is absolutely necessary?

lmao
So you're watching a show with very graphic violence, which is pretty much "unnecessary" (because really, what's "absolutely necessary" in a tv show?) and you are having a Family Values seizure over language?
If you're a troll, you should go back to Troll School and study some more because you're a lousy one. If you're not a troll, you should just stop watching cable and stick to the Leave it to Beaver Network tv programming.

That's her personality, not that I'm condoning it. That's the thing about words and about anything really, when you think deep about it, what is necessary?
For Deb it's more of a coping mechanism, she's a cop and her brother was a handful even before she discovered his secret. Besides, there's really not that much swearing in this show when you compare it to its HBO counterparts.
I like that boulder. That is a nice boulder. -

I have no issue with foul language as long as it's not just for the sake of of it. This series needed it, as you mentioned all the violence, can anyone really imagine how poorly the writing would appear if a homicide division which sees blood and gore every day didn't use foul language as a coping mechanism?
