You have no problem watching a guy kill people and cut up their bodies for pleasure, but the F word bothers you? LOL

            lmao
So you're watching a show with very graphic violence, which is pretty much "unnecessary" (because really, what's "absolutely necessary" in a tv show?) and you are having a Family Values seizure over language?
If you're a troll, you should go back to Troll School and study some more because you're a lousy one. If you're not a troll, you should just stop watching cable and stick to the Leave it to Beaver Network tv programming.

I love the language. I'm from the Balkans, and here we swear like sailors, so I'm used to foul language. Watching Dexter feels right at home. LOL.

That's her personality, not that I'm condoning it. That's the thing about words and about anything really, when you think deep about it, what is necessary?
For Deb it's more of a coping mechanism, she's a cop and her brother was a handful even before she discovered his secret. Besides, there's really not that much swearing in this show when you compare it to its HBO counterparts.
I like that boulder. That is a nice boulder.

are you offended by a show that's been off the air for at least 3 years. Well, why don't you go beep yourself.

That is how she talks in the book series so they just stayed true to her character.

I was put off by some of the language at first but then I tried to watch the cleaned up version and it was awful. My favorite was Deb describing a baby when she found out Rita was pregnant! Hilarious!

I have no issue with foul language as long as it's not just for the sake of of it. This series needed it, as you mentioned all the violence, can anyone really imagine how poorly the writing would appear if a homicide division which sees blood and gore every day didn't use foul language as a coping mechanism?
