What is wrong with you?
Roy annoys you, you are seemingly pretty unhappy about Jessie committing murder, but the guy who tries to rape her is deserving of sympathy?
Seriously?

I didn't buy him as the villain bc he seems to be a bit of a fool. i felt like Abby was the brains behind the drug operation and he was her boy toy along for the ride.
anyway, with his death scene they needed to either- make him appear more menacing and more of a physical threat to jessie in order to make her actions appropriate. the guy was a scum bag, but i didn't feel that he deserved to die.
OR
2)make it more obvious that she killed him on accident. maybe the stick she was hitting him with had a nail sticking out of it and that is what did the real damage. She seems to always hit him with the same amount of force, yet the fisrt two blows he is laughing.
I just felt his punishment was WAY TOO severe. death bc he put moves on a girl who was sending him all the right signals?

Was Carlos unaware of what he was transporting?

It seems like he knew. but he also seemed less intense about it, almost like he wanted people to know so the would think he was dangerous, or cool, or whatever.

Get real.
There is nothing to support this position. The girl's character was not developed in that manner. 'A lost kid who fell in with the wrong people'.
Jessie did nothing to encourage Carlos. Men like that don't need encouragement.
Did we see the same movie? -

Except kissing him and insinuating she would have sex with him, but never mind that, women shouldn't be responsible for their actions.

Are you guys kidding me? Did everybody just miss the whole point of Jessie's seemingly overreaction? Carlos was not trying to rape her, he wanted to settle the situation. The movie hinted that Jessie had a very troubled past, it's not unlikely to assume she got raped more than once maybe even sexually assaulted by her father explaining why she left home so young. It also explains why she is now with a man that provides her safety and comfort.
