I love the movie, but what made watching this film in the cinema even better was the crowd. I live in a country where English is not the first language. There have been movies where the jokes or funny lines sail past the crowd due, most likely, to the language barrier, and are met with silence. With The Avengers, there was a lot of laughter. People really seemed to get the lines. The atmosphere was great and, most importantly, not a single cell phone went off during the film.

The single most enjoyable movie I have saw was the original Star Wars in 1977, 2 days after it opened. Nothing will probably ever beat that. But don't get me wrong, I loved the Avengers.

It STILL does that for me to this day. Over a year later and I'm still abuzz.

I was streaming if from Amazon 30 seconds ago.
Five minutes into the movie I had to turn it off.
                  More cliche action superhero BS.
I grew up with sci-fi, read comics, own a few superhero flicks, but I am sick and goddamn tired of these movies.

So all you saw was the SHIELD stuff? Yeah, that was a smart move. Turning off a film most call an instant classic (including 90% of critics) five minutes in.

Even so, the entire start leading to Coulson's question "what do we do now" was better than ALL of Man of Steel. Seriously.

It's pretty high up there, of course I loved Return of the King when I saw it in theaters.

My last two films were a pure treat Thor The Dark World and Ctaching Fire but nothing has beaten Avengers yet.

The Hunger Games does kill a lot of those kiddies that play the games, however.

In the ditigal age, no film has used technology better. The cast was amazing as well.

The cheaper the tech becomes the more amazingthings we'll see in the future. What cost $100 million to make five years ago will soon cost $40 million. Imagine the possiblities?

I think X-Men DOFP may have proven that because it was about story first and CGI way down the line.

                                        No but it was enjoyable.
If I had to rank the most enjoyable

                                        1. Jurrasic park
                                        2. Avatar
                                        3. The Dark Knight
