The cheaper the tech becomes the more amazingthings we'll see in the future. What cost $100 million to make five years ago will soon cost $40 million. Imagine the possiblities?

I think X-Men DOFP may have proven that because it was about story first and CGI way down the line.

Why yes, this was the most enjoyable still.
                -Avengers
                -Jurrassic Park
                -Spider-Man
                -Spider-Man 2
Some minds are like concrete. Thoroughly mixed up and permanently set.

I remember when I thought and said this film wasn't going to be good because I was unsure of how it was going to turn out. Glad I was wrong. This film was so awesome to see at the cinema theaters, I had to see it 4 times and I don't see films that many times! It was like a rollercoaster that you didn't want to get off of.

Avengers was great, but I was expecting it to be great. The movie I enjoyed the most in recent years was The Lone Ranger, because everyone said it was bleep, and I loved it.

Captain America The Winter Soldier is the best I've seen this year.
How many Marvel films are the best of their year?

Well, Godzilla doesn't come close to measuring up. I saw that and it's very average.

Enjoyable? No one beats Terminator 2, Judgment Day. I saw it in theatre when I was 8 years old and is still the most enjoyable theatre experience i ever had

To this date "easily, yes" but in a month we'll know if AoU has managed to do the impossible and that is improve on perfection.

Wow! Are people genuinly comparing The Avengers to The Matrix??? The Matrix basically redefined science fiction and actually had an original story. I can't say that about The Avengers. The most generic movie I've ever seen, in every possible way.

No one is really comparing Avengers to the Matrix because The Matrix is at least three levels below Avengers. There is no comparison. Matrix was a one hit novelty that if released today would be another American Ultra type movie. It would be forgotten by the third week in release. Avengers is the cornerstone of the greatest active film franchise that's going to run decades and is still cutting edge. What's to compare?
