That is what Raj is. There are plenty of both kinds of women around and even more in between.
Raj is not for every woman, but there is no shortage of women who would appreciate him, and for whom he would make a great husband.

I really don't understand what women would see in him. I'll admit he is cute, but when he opens his mouth, that kills it. I don't mean his accent. He's too feminine and jerky. He's not manly, but none of the other guys are too.
They all act like over grown teenagers. Leonard acts so goofy when getting sex I don't see how Penny can do him. Howard was a total creep in the beginning. The way they all tried getting laid and talked about who is getting it and who is not and to going out looking for it, and just doing things on dates that they think will get them laid makes me hate men sometimes.

I ascribe that to the TV-show aspects. In real life, I don't think someone like that would be GETTING, either. Except I guess for real desperate clingers or something. -

I think there are two possibilities:
- The writers don't know how to write a girlfriend character for Raj, or how to come up with an interesting eighth main character, to fit in with the "Friends" type direction the show has gone in. Or:
- They want to keep Raj single, as a representative of what the show used to be. This way they can use him for situations that require an unattached character.
Or maybe a female-Raj-type (kind of the way Amy was to Sheldon, early on)
They kinda sorta tried doing this with Lucy, she had some deep emotional social issues to overcome. But her character didn't gel and there was no chemistry there. Mainly, she was just annoying.

They have 10 seasons and still no permanent girlfriend for Raj they had a lot of girlfriends for Raj and at one point they even had two for him !
