I had a very long and thought out response, and it got deleted immediately since I posted it when you thread got deleted.
Overall, I think they are both crap, but I find it funny how both campaigns are built around how crappy the other person is. Nobody talks about how good each person is. They only talk about how bad the other candidate is. This is a sad time in the USA, and I hope Trump is elected. If having him elected president is what it takes for Dem's and Rep's to get their acts together, then I'm okay with it.

I'm not sure how him getting elected would do that. For him to win, he'd have to have the majority of Republican support anyway.

Because everybody at that point would reflect on how broken the political system is. We have two completely garbage options for president. Something needs to change. If Trump is elected, maybe the call for a third party will finally happen.
