Don't hate Joker 2 because it's a musical

Hate it because it's a piece of crap.
Joker is on trial for the murders he committed in the first movie. But this movie has no real story, no substance, and nothing interesting going on, at all. It's just plain boring and uninteresting. I feel they weren't even trying to put out a good story, or even any story at all.
Joker was probably the best movie of 2019, and this follow up is a bitter disappointment. There was less than 20 people in the audience at the theater I went to on opening night, word of mouth on early previews probably killed any chance this movie had, thankfully. The audience was dead, never reacting to anything at all, and everyone got up quickly and left in silence as soon as it was over. Nobody even stayed to see if there was an after credit scene, because nobody cared. There wasn't, btw.
The final scene is the only part that could even be considered mildly interesting, and not even so much, really. I'll spoil it below so you don't have to waste your time on this boring mess.
After Joker is convicted of murder, he is gutted by a knife wielding maniac in the prison. Arthur Fleck, who is not the Joker in any comic version of the character (nor is the character a retard) bleeds out and dies as the blurry image of the man in the background laughs manically and uses the same knife to carve a smile on his own face, becoming the actual Joker as Retard Art stares at the screen with his dead eyes.
So bad. This movie has nothing going for it. 2/10 being generous for no reason.

Imagine being so poor you imagine other people don't go to the movies because of the inability to grasp that other people can afford **** while you cannot!

That's not the problem.
In fact if they embraced that it was a musical, like a Mama Mia! sort of thing, where Joker and Harley kill during their sequences, that could've been really good.
They really downplay the musical element.

The problem isn't that it's a musical, which I don't even think that it is, it's that the movie just plain sucks.
It shouldn't have been made. Or maybe the last scene in the movie should have been the first, just to set up the real Joker taking over from the start, eliminating the very lame Arthur Fleck storyline altogether.
Or just hire better writers. I could have given them a script in 24 hours that would blow the original movie out of the water.

What a dumb way to end the movie to kill the first Joker to replace him with a second.

There's lots of liberties taken with the character over the years Warren.
I don't think this movie (Or its predecessor) can be linked to any official canon and will likely not be referenced in the wider model as it continues
