Don't hate Joker 2 because it's a musical

Imagine being so poor you imagine other people don't go to the movies because of the inability to grasp that other people can afford **** while you cannot!

That's not the problem.
In fact if they embraced that it was a musical, like a Mama Mia! sort of thing, where Joker and Harley kill during their sequences, that could've been really good.
They really downplay the musical element.

The problem isn't that it's a musical, which I don't even think that it is, it's that the movie just plain sucks.
It shouldn't have been made. Or maybe the last scene in the movie should have been the first, just to set up the real Joker taking over from the start, eliminating the very lame Arthur Fleck storyline altogether.
Or just hire better writers. I could have given them a script in 24 hours that would blow the original movie out of the water.

After Joker is convicted of murder, he is gutted by a knife wielding maniac in the prison. Arthur Fleck, who is not the Joker in any comic version of the character (nor is the character a retard) bleeds out and dies as the blurry image of the man in the background laughs manically and uses the same knife to carve a smile on his own face, becoming the actual Joker as Retard Art stares at the screen with his dead eyes.
What a dumb way to end the movie to kill the first Joker to replace him with a second.

There's lots of liberties taken with the character over the years Warren.
I don't think this movie (Or its predecessor) can be linked to any official canon and will likely not be referenced in the wider model as it continues

We start with Cesar Romero and work our way forward in time Warren
Don't forget Mark Hamill
Sure Jerad Leto and Joaquin Phoenix might not have lived up to the grandeur of the others for trying to be different, they just didn't choose the right different to work when it was needed.
But the Joker is more than just an actor who plays them in moving pictures
