1. Women and ethnic minorities are wise, insightful and much put upon - check
2. White males, especially middle aged white males, are either creepy, guilty as hell but blaming it on women or minorities, stupid, violent or arrogant - check
3. The only good white males are those with left of centre social awareness and who feel the pain of women and minorities - check
4. Soapish melodrama to underscore just how put upon women and minorities are - check
   What a load of pc, culturally marxist rubbish! No wonder the western world is going down the tubes.

Right, the minorities and women are so wise and insightful that they are often the killers or are awful parents abusing their children and selling them to drug dealers. Doesn't get more wise and insightful than that. So PC of them
White males are all so guilty that they are often picked up by the cops based purely on having been with the victim at some point or friends with the victim, give an alibi, maybe even provide some evidence in questioning, and are released to never be heard from again. So guilty.
Won't touch the left of center thing because duh. This is Law and Order and it's always been left of center. That's not really PC though; it's just the writer bias.
Soapish melodrama is what L&O has always offered up and this show is actually pretty tame compared to, say, L&O:SVU which was stuffing Stabler's family drama down our throats for seasons at a time. Women and minorities are often part of the cases but so are average middle classers and self-employed business owners and a whole gamut of others.
Sounds like you watched a whole 3 episodes and decided to form an opinion and broadcast it as fact. Hm, there's a saying about assumptions. I forget it though.

Law and Order is well known for taking real-life crimes from newspapers and "reversing the races" which usually means have white perpetrators and minority victims, Criminal Intent used to do it all the time.
