Do you honestly expect people to take you seriously with such garbage?! Honestly it's a movie, not reality. It never surprises how people must see some sorta conspiracy theory with a cheap plot and plot. It's a movie! Nothing else.
Now on to movie, it made some fine points, one being most of us are to apathic to even try and and do anything, which is depressing. Saw this article today before movie.

You criticise him for taking the movie seriously and then do precisely the same. What you object to is his point of view, but you are ignorant. This is all about eugenics. It's not people per se that need to go (according to them) - it's the wrong kind of people. The useless eaters, and that means the vast majority of us.
The most elite think tank in the world - The Club of Rome - actually admitted that global warming is a scam in their book "The First Global Revolution". They said, "

sighthe planet is cooling..morondon't trust the IPCC, they have too many greenists in their pocketbecause these elitist pricks stand to make a ton of money off the governments and industry. Computer models are inaccurate. And I find anyone preaching about sacrifice for the environment online hypocrites. Stop driving your car, turn off your computer, don't buy processed food. Hell, don't use anything that is made by a factory, start boycotting airlines, etc
You are being lied to. I find it ironic that the summit for climate change was in Copenhagen, and there were record breaking cold temps.
And any attempt to say it is cold because of climate change is just a short cut to thinking. You idiots preached warming for so long that when the climate was actually getting cooler, you changed the name of GW to climate change. I blame the sun and the approaching planetary alignment that will occur in the next few years. I see bad weather, earthquakes, and volcanoes erupting excalating. The poles will shift then it's going to be a whole new world

Here is a test for you, this was done by 3 universities. They made a scaled sealed eco-system, started a warming trend guess what happened at a certain point part continued to climb in temp, others section grew colder then they had arranged it to be at the start of the experiment. One group did a reverse in that they started cold, went colder, then it warmed to a stable point, but then they trough in climate effectors such as CO2, H2SO4, and so on it follwed the same trend as the others warm over all, then warmer areas and cooler areas till a point went it went all warm then freeze over. check it your self..

Yeah and I would wonder if you would feel that way if say a species of ant was found that grew a fungus that could cure cancer but oops, we killed it off because it was just and ant. I would also bet you the would love to see the wolf, panther, bear populations killed off, but then we would have an onslaught of mice, rats, rabbits etc that would turn the human food supply into there own and millions of people would die

For those of you who didn't realize this, Val Kilmer is actually an actor and had no intention of killing off homo sapiens in real life. In fact, ecologists (and environmentalists) are typically very keen on warning us of the disasters that will eventually strike us in the long term when we mess with ecosystems without thinking. It's not their fault that most of the public is thick as concrete when it comes to science. Or selfish as crap when money's involved, for that matter. But, here's just a thought, maybe the scientists who have studied climate for 3 or 4 decades actually know bit more about this topic than the people who are into money and politics for a living. Maybe you should actually think about what they have to say.
The recent massive stream of ignorance-is-bliss global warming deniers, on the other hand, seems very keen on steering us into the direction of any number of major catastrophes without further thought. In case you missed this, it's not just the environmentalists that acknowledge man-made global warming anymore. Practically all climatologists agree that it is happening, whether they care or not. So don't turn it into a lefty-righty debate, and don't take the word of politicians -on either side of the debate- who want to tell you what is going on. Look at the actual, independently conducted science, done by people who know the field, and see for yourself. For all practical purposes, it could not be any clearer that we are having an impact. Whether you think that's bad is another matter, and one which is up for debate if you can present sound reasons why it may not be.
Oh, and also, global warming has very little to do with guppy's, so your example does not apply.
So, in summary, grow the uck up, get over your anti-environmental biases, educate yourself on the topic and on science in general, and look at the actual evidence before you start typing bull about this topic again, pretty please. -

Animals don't wage nuclear war on eachother. Animals don't blow mountain tops clean off to get at the oil underneath all so people can continue to drive big SUVs. Animals don't gush tons of oil into the ocean. Is it really so strange that someone would prefer animals over humans? It's not a mental disorder, waging an illegal war and killing thousands all in the name of your religion, now that is a mental disorder!
And also, the irrigation pumps were not turned down because of the guppy, they were turned down because the industrial farmers were using far too much water on their pesticide-ridden crops and the Colorado River is already over irrigated and drying up! -

The parts of the movie that support your preconceived partisan political views are empirical evidence that those views are accurate depictions of reality. The parts of the movie that conflict with them are, of course, complete hogwash. -
