8/10 from me; I think it actually underrated in all honesty. Its not as good as the first (or as emotional), but it still delivers its share of awesome moments, and I liked Rade Sherebedaga as the main antagonist Murad (thought it was a nice touch having him be related to Marco, the main kidnapper from the first).

Totally agree. I thought Taken 1 was rubbish, but this is even worse. I don't know why I watched it. Wooden acting (even Neeson), poorly filmed action scenes, corny scenes with his so called ex wife and HUGE plot holes.
My main problem? Neeson is 60!! He just doesn't cut it as an action hero.
I gave it 4/10. -

Wow - you need to stay WELL clear of Taken 3.
The only times you should risk it showing:- Someone has burned your house down, you manage to find them, and have them tied up until the authorities arrive. You don't want to physically injure them for legal reasons, but a little torture is much needed. You can then show it to them.
- Aliens invade. They kidnap you, and tell you that they wish to terminate the earth, because they're jealous of any other talent existing in the universe. They demand that you prove that humans are untalented, to leave earth alone. Then, and only then, should you show them Taken 3.
