Same. I support their cause, even if I lack the courage to face the violence they are all dealing with myself. You don’t need to be a part of the protests to agree with them.

they are. in Germany they're called "Letzte Generation" (Last Generation) which we could very well be if there isn't a radical immediate change in climate policies of all countries. these people at least are trying to force politicians into doing something. there are not many options for us as people to get to them, to appeal to their conscience, to lead protests that are radical yet peaceful, disturbing public order without harassing. these people get a lot of hate here, too. but they're so clear in their minds and so determined in what they're doing and most importantly for what they're doing this, to make those in charge aware that time is up and that they have to do everything in their power NOW to save our planet Earth that we all call our home. they're doing these protests for all of us and i find that very admirable.
Very nice speech, Sophie. But the planet isn't dying. It's just becoming inhabitable for humans die to what humans are doing to it. -

I care about the homeless and the poor. I've fed the poor. I vote. When newspapers were relevant, I used to wrote to the editor. I can go on.

Not at all. I agree with you completely, even if I wish that they were slightly more effective at protesting. I admire what they stand for though.
