I used to think '?!? Whatthefuck, 'Dick Ballhorn?!'…no way…shouldn't you at least go by Richard, or Rich, just to mitigate this?'

I had a university roommate with the last name Smellie, and everyone called him 'Smell'. People would come up to him and ask 'Hey great nickname! What's the story behind it?'. If he wasn't keen on the person he'd say 'well, that's my ****ing name!!'.
