Irrespective whether you greatly love or hate the Snow White themed MM and SWatH films, what greatly admired Grimm and/or non-Grimm's fairytale/s, you greatly admire, would you love seeing get live action and/or computer animation film adapted.
Please elaborate on what the story is about and why you greatly admire it so much.

ummm, haven't they all been film adapted in one way or another already? including the odd movie about the grimm brothers themselves?
OOooh maybe the pied piper, i think that was theirs? I see jim carey in the role
they may need to be substantially changed for todays public
Remember the original versions was often to keep kids inline(red riding hood was originally eaten, later versions she was cut out and replaced with stones, in later verions, grandmother locked in cupboard and so on)

I'd like to see either Rumpelstiltskin or Sleeping Beauty adapted into film like this.

i would love to see a mature retelling of the little mermaid. i think that would have a lot of potential both in drama and amazing visuals.

King Thrushbeard. I love that the spoiled, shallow princess finds in the end that appearances aren't all that important.

My friend mentioned once that "The Twelve Dancing Princesses" would make an interesting live-action film and i agree.

The Obamacare rollout? Although it would be like a Grimm tale horrific as it is.

Any of the Grimm's tales that have sinister woods as a setting. I thought it strange that they used silver birch trees in parts of this adaptation. They are not so creepy-looking as some other types of trees.
