Not yours clearly.
I don't go by dress size that's just stupid. You can be a size 10 waist and be a size 18 top. Bewley is in no way a size 18. Think you have a bad misinterpretation of size tbh -

sorry how the hell do you know what her BMI is? You don't know her lifestyle or anything, and you sure as hell aren't a doctor, or a dietitian. BMI is not a very good judge, and you certainly can't tell just from looking at a person what it is

she looks a bit chubby because practically all other actresses on screen these days are emaciated anorexics she's just big built, a larger girl could not pull off a bikini like she did and your right about the guys laughing lol

Your deluded Lauren why would they have cast her if she was only a bit chubby??
As you have said your personally between 9 and 15 stone and however tall you are anything over 12 stone is unhealthy.
And no I am not a teen or unfortunately no longer early 20s being 26. Regardless of my age I as almost everyone else on this board do will always see someone taht size as fat. -

I think the problem with use of the word "fat". To call someone fat is derogatory and insulting. It is also subjective. What is fat to one person, is not necessarily to someone else. It also depends on the girls personality. If she is lovely, youre less likely to see them as fat. If she (or he) isnt, then you have less of a problem branding them "that fat idiot".
I think overweight is technically a better term to use, because she was overweight. But youre not going to say "oh yeah that overweight girl you pulled the other night" -

oh ok, well its not unfair, but she is still attractive. To the average teenage boy obsessed with looks, im sure they would say she is on the large side.

My point was simple, the actress playing her isn't fat.
You really think a girl like that would have any kind of major health problems? A drain on the NHS?
I agree with you that obesity is a big problem (though not as big as the media likes to make out) and there's not point in 'celebrating' it, I remember reading some debates - in the Guardian obviously - about whether or not a persons Doctor should be allowed to tell them that they are fat and have a problem, ridiculous! So I agree with you on that point, however, this girl, is faarrrr from obese.

If anything, she's probably more healthy than the blonde one. We are DESIGNED to carry a little bit of fat. Too little can be just as bad as too much.
Either way, I feel bad, I feel bad for myself anytime I read a lads or girls magazine (because i don't have a sixpack), I feel bad for 'normal' (IE not stick thin) girls having to put up with picture after picture of borderline anorexic girls, being told thats how they must look, when it really is anything but.
The perfect example is just about everyone on this board disagrees with you, we all find her attractive. We are not brainwashed by what the media portrays as being attractive. -

exactly stuey, and they have shown in studies that being very thin can actually be worse than being slightly overweight (which she isn't) there is a difference between being overweight and having big boobs (which she has)

that other poster thinks a size 12 is fat..hmmmm lol -

This is ridiculous. Look at her she is more than overweight!. She would be exhausted after 30 seconds of jogging. How can I tell her BMI is high?? Easy BMI is Body Mass index and it calulted on weight and height. She is obviously heavy and not due to muscle and that will result in a bad BMI.
The blond girl looks great and not unhealthy. It is ridiculous to criticise her as its a " hard" standard to reach. People should be encouraged to strive to acheive something. A guy should be encouraged to have a 6 pack. If he cant quite get there at least he is in better shape than before trying.
Im almost astonished at this discussion and presume it must be backed by a load of people too lazy to stay in healthy shape.. -

There is absolutely ZERO health benefits to having a six pack, you seem to be confusing vanity with health.
To achieve a six pack, you have to drop your fat levels to a ridiculously low level, which in turn leaves you with a lower amount of energy than you generally need. How many athletes do you see with perfect six packs? Very, very few. Other than the famous, ronaldo for example. It's honestly a hindrance to their overall fitness.
"People should be encouraged to strive to acheive something"
I'll encourage her to be the best actress she can possibly be, I'd encourage a young person to go to school and study so they can become a doctor or a scientist, or whatever they want to be. Thats achieving something, not looking beep skinny, my god how shallow are you?
I'm in pretty good shape, except on sunday/monday, I go to the gym on tuesdays to get rid of the weekend beer belly :P. -

There are health benefits in the attempt to get a six pack as it will get plenty of men/women closer to a healthy body fat ratio than before they make the effort. The six pack itself is purely a vanity thing but a muscled guy with a six pack will be in considerably better health than a guy with 15%+ bodyfa.
If the "fat" one tried to change her body in order to obtain abs and failed but lost 3 or 4 stone as a result the attempt to get abs will have significantly improved her long term health. Ideally then due to looking better and recieving more attention she will continue to stay in shape even if she no longer desires the bas. -

hmmmmmm intense conversation, at the end of the day the directors/producers decided to cast her as the fat girl, she obviously agreed to it. The sentiment is nice that you are saying she isnt fat. Although she isnt slim! at same time, for some people she may seem a little on large side, for others not! horses for courses.
she was perfectly cast as she isnt what the general public would cast as normal size, im sure the general public dont think that paper thin is normal or average size either.
end of the day she was an attractive plus size lady. if she wasnt then the whole point of jay complaining about her being fat wouldnt have worked.
