women go for personality over looks every time because we are not as shallow as most men, our brains work in different ways
    What
!? If that was the case, shows like
    Take Me Out
would feature thirty blokes and one girl.
Poor example, since television shows like that thrive on shallow people. However, women are far and away the shallower sex. Men are less picky about appearances, age, their partner's career and I imagine we have the same standards as women when it comes to personality too (or lower)

Yeah, that's why most unmarried men are middle class or poor, right? You can't just make sexist beep up and expect to be taken seriously. There are far more ugo dudes dating pretty women than the reverse. Women do have better brains in that regard and are less shallow. And plenty of men who don't want kids at all still are terribly shallow so don't kid yourself.
I met Cinderella once she's actually kind of a bitch.

Whilst trying to not be overly controversial she was a big girl. Agreed she is not far of the now " normal" size but in my opinion that is a criticism of modern UK. 20 years ago she would not have been normal size.
With the obesity problems modern society is facing I do not think we should be trying to praise girls for being overweight and unhealthy. They are proving a huge burden to the national health and this problem is one that is growing. If the movie offends girls of a similar size in my opinion that can only help and prehaps they may change thier diet and start exercising.

normal size does not mean healthy and unfortunately normal size of an English girl is now not just overwieght but is fat.
What is your descritpion of overwieght???? Size 12+ usually means a girl is overwieght and that girl looked a size 18 or so

                  Not yours clearly.
I don't go by dress size that's just stupid. You can be a size 10 waist and be a size 18 top. Bewley is in no way a size 18. Think you have a bad misinterpretation of size tbh

Well BMI works for most girls (doesent work for guys). Based on the BMI she would be classified as obese which is not healthy. The other 3 actresses look far more healthy

sorry how the hell do you know what her BMI is? You don't know her lifestyle or anything, and you sure as hell aren't a doctor, or a dietitian. BMI is not a very good judge, and you certainly can't tell just from looking at a person what it is

she looks a bit chubby because practically all other actresses on screen these days are emaciated anorexics she's just big built, a larger girl could not pull off a bikini like she did and your right about the guys laughing lol

Your deluded Lauren why would they have cast her if she was only a bit chubby??
As you have said your personally between 9 and 15 stone and however tall you are anything over 12 stone is unhealthy.
And no I am not a teen or unfortunately no longer early 20s being 26. Regardless of my age I as almost everyone else on this board do will always see someone taht size as fat.

I think the problem with use of the word "fat". To call someone fat is derogatory and insulting. It is also subjective. What is fat to one person, is not necessarily to someone else. It also depends on the girls personality. If she is lovely, youre less likely to see them as fat. If she (or he) isnt, then you have less of a problem branding them "that fat idiot".
I think overweight is technically a better term to use, because she was overweight. But youre not going to say "oh yeah that overweight girl you pulled the other night"

oh ok, well its not unfair, but she is still attractive. To the average teenage boy obsessed with looks, im sure they would say she is on the large side.

My point was simple, the actress playing her isn't fat.
You really think a girl like that would have any kind of major health problems? A drain on the NHS?
I agree with you that obesity is a big problem (though not as big as the media likes to make out) and there's not point in 'celebrating' it, I remember reading some debates - in the Guardian obviously - about whether or not a persons Doctor should be allowed to tell them that they are fat and have a problem, ridiculous! So I agree with you on that point, however, this girl, is faarrrr from obese.
                                        http://www.film4.com/images/inbetweeners-02.jpg
If anything, she's probably more healthy than the blonde one. We are DESIGNED to carry a little bit of fat. Too little can be just as bad as too much.
Either way, I feel bad, I feel bad for myself anytime I read a lads or girls magazine (because i don't have a sixpack), I feel bad for 'normal' (IE not stick thin) girls having to put up with picture after picture of borderline anorexic girls, being told thats how they must look, when it really is anything but.
The perfect example is just about everyone on this board disagrees with you, we all find her attractive. We are not brainwashed by what the media portrays as being attractive.

exactly stuey, and they have shown in studies that being very thin can actually be worse than being slightly overweight (which she isn't) there is a difference between being overweight and having big boobs (which she has)
