I am not sharing my info with that man. I will keep that to my own self and allow him to forever wonder.
    Also the Science Museum provides!

    Nice find!
Have you managed to find a Terminator 2 lead from the Dyson labs into the helicopter cartridge for it?
There must be some kicking about in charity shops or on eBay or something
If not, you could ask that guy on Reddit for his. But he might want to know why and stuff and so perhaps not

No but I did have that one years ago as well as a Tom & Jerry one. They were fun little novelty items. Not as cool as my Super Nintendo but they made a cool little toy to bring with me on car day trips with the Denparents. 🙂

Apparently Mattel are bringing out a new movie based on the View-Master and so they might all be worth a few bob more in the near future Bobby
Maybe gen up on them to be the fountain of knowledge for everyone wanting to be into the new Barbie type movie in a few years

That will be nice for these people who want to see a film about a handheld slideshow device. I’ll tell Colin about that as I’m sure that he will watch it numerous times over as he does with all of the films which come out at the multiplex. 🙂 There’s a Taco Bell around there now you know, I do not rate Taco Bell.
Speaking of films I watched one the other day called Threads, have you seen it? 🙂

I haven't seen Threads but that YouTube guy The Critical Drinker saw it and really enjoyed it. I've not seen it at any cinemas around here and so just put it on the backburner. Is it any good?
I've only done Taco Bell a couple of times and really didn't like it apart from once - where it was awesome and I'd have it everyday for lunch if it were convenient (And they sold beer too!).
But generally fast food Mexican places need to be family run (And good). There's a great place here called Rafa's which ticks all the boxes and isn't too well known outside of people who have visited it. It's one of those ones where you know it's going to be huge and completely change to adapt and so it's only a matter of time until then. But those are the best places to use and try to help them on their journey to eventually not be what you love

You don’t need to watch Threads at the cinema, it is on BBCIplayer to watch right now! 😊 It’s an old film from 1984 but a good one. It’s a very realistic portrayal of nuclear war and it begins with a bunch of people in Sheffield just quietly going about their usual day to day business. The news is going on in the background but the characters aren’t taking it very seriously at first but then it escalates. I won’t say any more as it deserves watching with little reveal. 🙂

No it is not. This is Threads and it is a fine film not deserving of ridicule. Threads should never be played for laughs!

                    When the Wind Blows (1988)
and humour, as always, is subjective

I have read Gentleman Jim though which is the book which precedes it.

It has been on my list. I like the Raymond Briggs offerings that I’ve watched and read to date such as Ethel and Ernest. 🙂

Gentleman Jim is much more lighthearted. It’s about a toilet cleaner who dreams of something more exciting. Anyone who’s ever been bored of their work or life can relate to Jim. 🙂

Well yes there’s no Judge Dredd or Slaine or anything like that in Gentleman Jim, but it is a lovely little comic that’s both whimsical and poignant. It’s only very short too. 🙂

There's a good story called "Button Man" by John Wagner that has no Dredd or Slaine in it Bobby
I'm not against comics being more than boobs and bombs
But a janitor who dreams is a little Walter Mitty (Which is a good movie).

There's a good story called "Button Man" by John Wagner that has no Dredd or Slaine in it Bobby
I'm not against comics being more than boobs and bombs
But a janitor who dreams is a little Walter Mitty (Which is a good movie).
Is there at least a reoccurring gag or Chekov payoff?
Yes I have read Button Man. 🙂 You know, I can’t really remember as it’s been so long since I’ve read it. If you can find it on Amazon for under a tenner then I recommend. 🙂

The Gentleman Ghost looks like a right naff villain.
That’s good then…let me know how you find it. It only takes several minutes to read. 🙂
