Yeah…i went ahead and read directive 937…crew expendable. He definitely isn't getting in trouble for it…could be translated as going above and beyond…maybe a promotion? Well probably not after he got dismantled.

The androids come out in alphabetical order in the movies up until Covenant with Walter.
So Ash, Bishop, Call and then David
Then it was Walter and now Andy (And Rook!) and so the original magical thinking has been thrown to the wind
The crew were only ever to get infected and brought back in Alien, the porn mag attempted death of Ripley is just Ash being needless cruel

I don't know that I agree there SigMan.
Ripley posed a formidable challenge for Ash's prime directive. As he saw it I'm sure…that bitch needed some deep throat death ASAP!
But to be fair…I think he could have come up with something more efficient

Dude's a super smart android with precise motor skills and a full knowledge of human physiology. He could have taken her down to Chinatown and showed her how he hit the gong around

Very admirable Anthony
Bishop does seem to be everyone's favourite and while some are split on who they liked the least I respect that you can see an android and their motivations are different enough not to be hated
