Yeah, but did you see how hot that chick was? I would put up with anything for a crack at her crack!

On the flip side, who would stay with a man who dumped his dog because his girlfriend asked him too?
To me, taking in a pet is commitment to take care of that animal for the life of that animal. Not only as only long as it's convenient. And I couldn't respect anyone who'd put off that commitment so easily.
Also, my thing is this, love me, love my pet. My relationship with my pet predates that person. So what kind of person is willing to just drop that relationship for another.
If someone I was dating didn't like my pet and/or couldn't respect my love of my pet, that relationship would never progress to an engagement stage.

If your pet is as important to you as your significant other, then I hope your s.o. feels the exact same way about his pet and you. And it's probably best that the two of you never have human children.

Right. And if you're the type to dump the pet you claim to care for, a pet who can't take care of itself because someone asks you to, it's probably best that you don't ever have human children. You might meet someone who doesn't like your kid one day.

              Huh?
I value my S.O. over any pet and my children over everything and everybody. So no. It's not who gets there first.

Watching her troll this board by prattling on and on about how much perfect strangers love their pets, already I can tell you that I don't like her children.

there are many pets end in shelters because of people like you. you get a boyfriend and dump all your pets in the shelters because he doesnt like them.

They really were incompatible together anyway.
