Fir it to go completely cashless they would have to guarantee that there are never technical issues with card machines or whatever they're using to accept payment. I can't see entire shops closing down for hours because a software program goes buggy.

Biden has already said this is going to happen next year…although people don't listen to anything he says or they can't understand anything he says (take your pick).
It should make you feel real secure that George Soros owns Bitcoin…lol…so he'll be managing your money for you.
There's a vid on YouTube of some woman who claims she died and was shown her life til some point in 2060 something, and she said cashless society is going to happen soon.
Those who don't protest it will be given credit, while those who oppose it will be screwed.
She also sees Trump being president again…but not until 2028.
She said Trump restores paper money and everything goes back to the way it used to be.
She said there will not be any Civil Wars, but China will invade the US…though not until around 2061
Then Northern US and Canada will merge into one country.

I'll likely be long gone by the time of the invasion. China can have the US….
And that is not promising to hear either, because it means China is going to be a problem for the world.

I havent used cash in ten years. If not more.
Here’s its almost gone. There are no places with cash only except for maybe like a yard sale somewhere, but even then people would just use Swish. Which is our Venmo, mobile payment.
