Why DC gets so much hate

MCU Spider-Man sure got a lot of praise in Civil War, and he's a character we've seen on the big screen numerous times. The differences is the way he was handled, and the way the world he was portrayed in was handled.

erichwiese, your argument is moronic at best and you should feel ashamed. So by your logic, any new iteration of a work that has already had an adaptation is automatically judged a million times more harshly than works just now getting a big screen adaptation? That's moronic! By your argument, the Nolan films should have been super hates, too, because of the Burton films.
No, the MCU is more popular because its better. Sorry if you can't live with that. And no, the MCU does not share the same problems as the DCEU. The DCEU is just a poorly written mess.

This is to all marvel fanboys trying to say something on this thread. Please dont because nonone cares. We are not bothering you on your disney loony tunes and avengers threads. So please dont waste your time trying to prove a point. All i want to know is why dc gets so much hate from a nuetral perspective. Dc and marvel have exactly the same issues but it feels like if one is watching a marvel film one is watching to see the good. But when watching a DC film one is watching to see the bad. So please dont get offended when i am mentioning the MCU. Just relax or leave

I would guess that the Disney loony tunes part was intended as some sort of insult yet Looney tunes is actually Warner Bros. DC fans also often are seen on Marvel threads trying to provoke Marvel fans. Still whatever don't let a failed attempt at an insult and a lie distract us too much from the topic.
Why are they awful movies? Plot holes? Bad CGI? Bad writing? Weak villians? Everything the MCU also have?
What has that got to do with anything it would not matter even if it was true that all these elements are present in the MCU it does not give the DCEU an excuse for them to exist in its movies does it?

- I WAS A DC FAN LONG BEFORE I WAS A MARVEL FAN.
- "leave". beep you, you stupid son of a bitch. This is not a fan forum and you do not get to tell me where I can and cannot go.
- There are no neutral perspectives, ever.
- No, Marvel shares absolutely none of the same issues as DC. You watch Marvel films to see good movies, you watch DC films to see how they'll screw it up this time.
- "We are not bothering you on your disney loony tunes and avengers threads." You've clearly not been paying attention to all the Snyder and Nolan fanboys we are constantly bombarded with. Of course, I wouldn't expect someone with tunnel vision like you to notice.
- Go to Hell.

I think that's some of it. I also think it has a lot to do with expectations. Sometimes the films have hype that they will never be able to match (BVS WILL BE THE GREATEST MOVIE EVER). Other times the films look to be marketed one way while the actual film is far off from what it is (BVS DD trailer being full of action, actual movie has only like 30 minutes in 2 and 1/2 hours).
And the main factor, and I say this as the biggest defender of BVS (one of my favorite CBMs of all time) and MOS, sometimes the films simply aren't good to many people. Whether it be the characterizations, the editing, the tone, the cohesion of the narrative, etc, some people just don't like these films and that's okay. Because what makes film awesome is differing opinions. -

Oh good, you're back.
Also, what I meant with "film is awesome because of different opinions", was more relating to the discussion aspect of the movies. Different opinions create interesting and fun conversation.
