Despite the fact the sequel is giving us Wasp? That's not enough of a premiere that the sequel just had to have Giant-Man also?
Personally the inclusion of Giant-Man in Civil War made that battle even more spectacular than it was. They were obviously trying to create something memorable with that battle and they definitely nailed it. -

Ater MoS pretty much every single move DC has made has been panicked but that dumbass thinks because they decided to expand on Ant-Man's power in civil war, that's a "panic move"
Marvel is leading the way, they keep hitting it out of the park with every film even the unknown properties no one cares about become some of their best films. (GotG, Dr. Strange) and this idiot thinks they "panic"
I'd laugh at these children if I wasn't already disgusted by my tax dollars going to waste supporting their brain damaged asses. Thanks to Batmeh v Supermeh Yawn of Justice, the "S" now stands for Sidekick -

I can understand why the Ant-Man director would feel disappointed as it demonstrates one of the other extremes of Ant-Mans powers which I am sure he would have liked to have debuted himself. However just because you are directing the movie featuring a certain character I don't think that means you get to own that character and in a shared universe each character is up for being used for the best effect they can add to each movie. Ant-Man turning into a giant was very effective in Civil War and the airport scene.
Marvel panicked and cost the Ant-Man sequel its 'Giant-Man' premiere.
Panicked by what exactly care to explain a bit on that one?
To make a great film you need three things - the script, the script and the script -Alfred Hitchcock -

Great. Why is that on this board?
Anything that might make Marvel Studios look bad gives the OP a boner.

Not sure what this has to do with Batman V Superman other than to attract the resident trolls.
Looks like he finally bagged one too. Thanks to Batmeh v Supermeh Yawn of Justice, the "S" now stands for Sidekick -

I think the director has been open about wanting to keep Ant-Man as a more stand alone series, with shared universe references kept to a minimal. Apparently that sort of stuff may have been why Jon Favreau had such a hard time making IRON MAN 2.
I liked seeing Giant-Man in CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR, though. It would've sucked waiting to see that in ANT-MAN AND THE WASP.
