I rather enjoyed it Bobby
Thought it was actually a good episode and well put together.
Even if we need to wade into 'woke' territory it clearly established the rules for people of colour in Florida for 1953 without overselling it. It just was a thing and it was wrong
It's sort of like an inverse Dot and Bubble, which had some of the audience seeing it as being a nod to inherent racism in the lead of that episode. Whereas I just saw a cliquey cow who had a xenophobic reaction to anything which wasn't a part of her group. Lux didn't labour anything but had a clear distinction about racial prejudices in humanities history (And how they were wrong), Dot and Bubble showed that some of the audience are still racist because they took perfectly reasonable rejection of the unknown as a skin tone thing.
I'm sure Confused Adipose and his lot are all as blissful as the New York copper in the cinema hall
Now, onto that scene with the three fans…

I enjoyed it too, Siggy.
And yes there was a nice bit of woke in there, but hopefully it was the sort of woke which won’t annoy anyone except the most rabid anti-woke folk on YouTube etc. There’s never any pleasing these folk anyway. Also what the Doctor says can be taken as a message for anyone facing predudice, misunderstanding or bullying. It was a GOOD message delivered by a kind Doctor. Hopefully this will help the WOKE movement out some. 
Now the fans…I definitely needed to talk to you about that. Firstly let me say that I found it a delicious way of breaking the fourth wall, then not, then breaking it again! It was quite tastefully done I thought and fit in with the concept of the episode and its villain. Now my one quibble with it is why was it not well known YouTuber Doctor Who fans who we saw?! The aforementioned Confused Adipose, Tharries etc. THERE WAS LITERALLY A WOMAN IN A WHEELCHAIR SO WHY NOT THARRIES?!!
HUGE missed opportunity I thought. Just imagine the Doctor and Linda stepping out of that TV and seeing Tharries etc, how utterly wonderful that would have been!

A bit too much fan service if they'd done that Bobby and I think the actors they got did a great job of being somewhat dim yet glib (Just like your YouTubers).
I think they'll return and be the actual end of this Doctor on May 24th
Some sort of phone in or something and it will turn out that the fans are the actual gods of the pantheon and that they want the Doctor dead (Or something similar)
You just watch. And Mrs Flud will be River Song after she got out of the library
And it turns out she used the Bobbytown exit with Doctor Moon from Enders also

I still think it’s a bit of a missed opportunity for it not to have been Tharries…but I suppose that gender changing Tharries makes it all more WOKE and that is a good thing! WHY can’t Tharries be a female?!! There is absolutely zero reason why he can’t!!

Not only should Tharries have been a woman, he should have been a transsexual Cybertimelady and everyone should have done the Time Warp (Again!)

You ALWAYS want to think the better of them and give them the benefit of the doubt but NO!!!! I ALWAYS have their card marked and I am ALWAYS right about them!
I’m still interested, I’ll still keep watching. It’s just fun entertainment to me.
Also I do think that Who reviewer Adam Martyn should have appeared as one of the fans. Not only is he actually an actor but he’s also been in a couple of Big Flourish plays so he’s literally been in Doctor Who!!
I’m just watching his video of the various ITV regional idents as we speak. Give it a watch when you get chance, it’s fun stuff!

I got about 3 minutes into Adam Martyn Bobby and I liked it. I'll get back to it at some point as it is things I have an interest in
Great that he's been in some audio plays of Who. A bit too serious for the Beeb though and so he's likely seen as a threat
As for Big Smoke, I'm sure they're harmless. Just see what they are like and stop being so cynical so quickly

My region varied depending up the time of day and year Bobby
Grampian, Granada, Borders, LWT and STV mostly
I rarely watched TV but it was always on and I soaked up all the stuff that came out it.
I liked when Channel 4 and BBC 2 started doing their funky idents
