Episode 7 was amazing

Well, yes, but the whole concept of the episode is that it takes place in Ash's mind as Baal tries to manipulate him. Ash
succumbs to Baal's will at the end, but that doesn't necessarily mean he's gone insane

Agree, one of the best episodes of the franchise. Funny when it needs to be but the overall tone was very serious, perhaps the first truly serious thing in the entire saga.
Even Bruce showed a performance like I have never seen before, believable and real not B acting by any stretch.
I think the way he played it is one of the most jarring thing because it feels real and natural.
Also plays of the old time speculation about whether any of its real. -

I wouldn't say it was God awful, but I was disappointed by it. We all know it was in Ash's head, and that Baal was pulling the strings. Thus, there was no dramatic tension. Any idiot could see where it was going from the first minute. It was funny, but that is all I can say about the episode. I guess the puppet was the real stand out element.
The episode was the low point for the series to me. It is sad because I have liked this season better than the last.
