It has humor and a great villain - just like 3, the best in the series.
I don’t understand why Cruise never learned from this
️ 4 has a crap villain, why do that when you saw how well 3 worked with Phil Seymour Hoff beasting it as a brilliantly written bad guy?
Similarly, why make Final Reckoning a bloated 3 hour mess when you saw how badly that formula failed with Dead Reckoning? In both cases they started shooting without a finished script️ DO NOT START FILMING UNTIL YOU'VE NAILED DOWN A KILLER SCRIPT - I’m not even in the industry and I know this basic ****, why don’t they?

Movie was dumb. Tom Schnooze fighting Henry Anvill for a detonator that the bad guy coulda just dropped off the edge of the cliff instead. They shoulda stopped after the first one. But Tom needs more money to fund the expansion of his cult churches.
