My sister thought our mother didn't like her when we were growing up because of the way our mother treated her
My sister spent a lot of her adult life being rude to her
I can understand up to a point and our mom knew why she was like that, and she never complained about how my sister treated her, but I did
My sister is rude to me sometimes too. I think it's because I'm her sister and she takes my love for granted
I doubt if she would ever say rude things to her friends like she does to me

Same with siblings and rivalry is always going to happen. I guess I have been lucky with my sister because we pretty much got along for 99.9% of the time.
Parents do need to watch themselves when they have more than one kid, because children are like sponges and can misinterpret things too.
Why did your mother treat her the way she did?

Good to hear that about you and your sister
My sister and I get along, it's just that she tends to be blunt, and I don't say anything because I don't want to hurt her. I laugh a lot so I'm sure I get on people's nerves
My mother is a controlling person. When we were in our early teens, she started checking up on us by calling where we said we were going to go
If we weren't there, she and my stepfather would wait until we got home and try to catch us in a lie
At least that's what happened to my sister. Then my mom would hit her, and I guess this happened to her a lot, where our mom was hitting her
That is why I understood why she had such animosity towards our mom, but when I was with them, I would get upset and annoyed at how my sister would ignore our mom when she would try and converse with her

My sister was a bit more defiant, but I was no angel, just a bit of a late bloomer
I hate that they treated her like that and that I didn't protect her
I guess my only excuse is that she treated me like she didn't like me

Though I wonder if the three boys had been allowed to grow up together if Eddy wouldn't have found enough love and comfort and reassurance in his relationships with his two brothers to not have come out okay.
The doc started out so happy and upbeat and ended so dark and depressing.

I feel a lot of it has to do with the family that raised him and his father admitted he was more of a strict disciplinarian. There was a lot of resentment going on with Eddy and perhaps a conditioning that he wasn't living up to expectations.
But yes, ultimately they really needed the support of each other.

Yes. He likely felt that, given the circumstances of his upbringing, he was the unlucky one of the three. And, tragically, he was right.

So you can tell who is who? Wow. I know I can't. All three were super cute boys. When you see the three of them together horsing around and smiling, it's hard not to fall in love with them. They seemed very endearing.
A friend recommended it to me. Very fascinating. I'm glad you got to see it.

IIRC Eddy is in the middle
Edit: Wrong, I just checked, Eddy is on the left

These 3 boys were all in the womb together, once birthed and if they had been separated straight away they may not have had the same connection for each other.
As it stood, as sentient babies they were all in each others presence for a while until individually adopted out. They had their own special baby bond and hence separation anxiety as the doco mentioned.

They really hurt those babies by doing that to them
I know a woman who's a triplet… she's a sweet lady and very emotional. She may have had a mental breakdown at some point due to tragedy

I saw this film. This was
horrific and barbaric!
It's like something the Nazis would do! The sick bastards who did this should be prosecuted
and punished severely!
