Pumpkin, other people here aren't as stupid as you. I know what the idiotic question in the OP was actually about, and it was indeed about fundamentalist Islam. You aren't fooling anyone.
And my answer, to repeat it so it has some chance of getting into your dumb ass thick skull, is that to fix the problem of fundamentalist Muslims in non Western countries, Westerners must elect more leftists, who will be less inclined to invade or bomb Muslim majority countries and less inclined to support oppressive regimes in Muslim majority countries. Both of these factors are the major driving force behind fundamentalism.
Do that, wait a while, and the problem, such as it is, shrinks to utter insignificance.

The question was about colonialism. I actually threw in examples found when the Conquistadors landed. If you knew your history, you'd have spotted that.

You learn they stone females to death for allowing themselves to be raped. You discover that they bury people alive, or sell them into slavery, as forms of punishment. They have sex with their young, and they kill female babies.
It doesn't sound like the type of place where Sophie or I would be very safe, running still seems the best option.
Also what does "allowing themselves to be raped" mean?
If I were more moral, I'd still look after my own safety first and foremost because I'm no help to anyone if I'm "allowing" myself to be raped, stoned, sold or buried alive.
I understand that trying to change ingrained thinking is almost impossible but recognise that there are innocent victims who need to be helped, people who probably accept this as an inevitable part of their life.
What is the answer? I don't know, what is it?

I just thought it was a good way of showing that sometimes you have to choose a lesser of two evils. Either stand by and watch as pain and suffering are inflicted on innocents, or you have to act. Invariably, acting leads to violence.
Many an empire was founded this way. It's very easy to look at colonialism and see a crime. Rarely do people see colonialism as the inevitable outcome when a culture with superior morals (from their perspective) starts to explore the world.
