In Los Angeles County the sheriffs only have jurisdiction over unincorporated areas. Sheriffs don't dare venture into the city of LA and LAPD don't dare cross over into county or any suburb with it's own police force.

I don't believe the opposite is true. When I lived in Cali, city cops could go into unincorporated areas with the objective of justifying annexation. In many states there are mutual support agreements between jurisdictions. Anyone know the law in Minnesota?

No, cops here are very territorial. I live in a suburb with it's own police force. Neither LAPD nor the County Sheriff have any authority here. They can chase a fleeing suspect inside the suburb. But they cannot patrol here.

I’m on board with this since there’s a lot of evidence which supports that it’s run off of a shady agenda. From where it stands, they’re no longer crime fighters who are on the side of justice.
