You certainly are a hateful little worm. You don't have meltdowns. You throw tantrums!
You asked a pretty question; I've given you the ugly answer.

We should have closed out boundaries even sooner than we did, but we had a lot of New Zealanders who were overseas to get home safely. We're on level three now, and some people are acting as though we've beaten this thing. I'm afraid their stupidity will give it a chance to come back worse than before. I'm staying home.

I believe that we were doing exceptionally well while we were on level 4, and maybe that's the reason for the 'triumphant' tone. To be honest, I'm not aware of that tone, but you have obviously been keeping up with the play. As I've said, I think we've eased up too soon, but small businesses were struggling badly, and this is meant to help them. Too bad that some of the population has taken this to mean we've beaten the bastard.

What I mean is the official messaging I have heard - and I have read a bit on it - is 'we beat it'. All it takes is one superspreader and you are in the soup again…
the province of Quebec, which is like 2 kilometers from where I sit, is planning to selectively reopen soon, even though it has half the cases in all of Canada. It's like an experiment played out in real-time, I hope that it works out. -

Nobody has any idea what will happen from one day to the next. They keep discovering new and nasty things about this virus. For instance, the blood clotting and strokes in young people who have had only minor symptoms, or none at all. Children are now developing something called Kawasaki disease, which seems to be a by product of Covid 19. This is the tip of an iceberg that could go very deep. I'm concerned.

The OP is a he.
He is a mixed up hateful guy who loves to stir the pot.
He posts links daily, and his views change as often as the links he posts.
He is not to be taken seriously.

You're welcome.
i think that he sometimes sees these articles and misunderstands or simply puts his own spin on what is written.
He is Romanian. He has a big hate on for the US. He isn't too keen on the UK.
Some days, he is against China. Other days, he's for China.
I have no clue as to why he is attacking New Zealand. Most likely, it's because he doesn't understand just how things are there, and how the government works.
It's difficult to explain things to him. he has preconceived notions.

That's another thing he does. He leaves when the conversation isn't going in the direction he intended.

I apologize for the retarded Romanian.
Why? Are you somehow responsible for him???
