He was good, that's why he got assassinated. He attempted to be an actual president. Every Pres since has towed the company line. Regardless of party they all suck. But that is why they don't get picked off. Because they play ball with the powers that be.

The whole Kennedy family were a bunch of corrupt politicians. He wasn't a terrible president, but history shows him as great only because he got assassinated. He and his family were extremely corrupt.

Lincoln and FDR.
Lincoln for winning the Civil War, keeping the Union intact, and freeing the slaves, all while dealing with the death of a child.
FDR for getting the country back on track through the Great Depression, building the beginnings of a social security infrastructure, and supporting the Allies through Lend-Lease. While struggling with serious physical limitations. -

Yeah, FDR extended the Great Depression and social security is a garbage policy. But I do love how the hero of the Democrats was a terrible president who imprisoned Asians for being Asian and stole silver from the American citizens.

YerDumb, why don't you read about the Smoot–Hawley Tariff Act before you slander FDR again.
Most economists and economic historians agree that it was that these Republican set of tariffs that exacerbated the Great Depression. Not FDR (lol!). -
