Does he feel superior to Americans by pretending his country is more to his liking (less freedom)?

I have facts and statistics to prove that Australia is better than America. Shootings, drugs, crime, murder, racism, riots, poverty, disease, medical care, rape - all of these are far bigger issues in America than they are over here.
What makes your country better than mine, the serving sizes at the local McDonalds?

It's laughable that you think your statistics prove Australia is better than the US. They don't. But I am interested in finding out why you and those who live in other countries find it so compelling to focus your attention and energy on criticizing my country.
It's got to be difficult to be so consumed with this. You must feel some sort of jealousy. Or if not, perhaps you find that it builds your self-esteem to tell yourself your country is better.
Try to make your own country better. I'm sure you know many things that could be improved. It could be a worthy new year's resolution for you.

Every reasonable American would admit that if guns were banned, and there were no guns in circulation in the country there would be virtually no gun crime.
But they can’t admit this fact.
They say silly **** like if America banned guns, there’d be more gun crime, because only “criminals” would have them.
So if we banned bubblegum, only criminals would chew bubblegum?
Their reasoning literally makes no sense and they obv did not take a Business 101 course because that’s not how it works.
Oh, they say “criminals will find a way to get them.” - they also think every mass shooter is an Ocean’s Eleven CIA operative who smuggles guns into the country, and not some regular Joe Schmo who buys his gun at a ma and pa shop. They think criminals are super smart like in a Bourne Identity movie!
These same right wingers would have absolutely no idea how to get heroin or a gun illegally. Yet, they ascribe these superpowers of fictional Hollywood villains to criminals who are not them.
They should say their truth which is: “I’m okay with people dying from gun crime every now and then because the right to own one is more important to me than to give up that right to save a life.”
