Nobody but you here is drawing the connection from the Nazis to the American right-wing. It wouldn't be a valid comparison, they have different intellectual and social roots, so I am not sure why you are so worried about it, -

You are also correct in saying the Nazi's were a form of Socialism. They had no roots in The conservative or right political spectrum of the United States.
However Hitler did study and was a fan of the Confederates.

Keep in mind I was referring to only American standards. European standards they were right wing for sure, but US standards they were left, which is why the slimy Democrats in the US loved Hitler at first.
