Have you read the Bible
Having been raised a Catholic, I have read parts of it.
What did you make of it?
I took comfort…
It was like most storybooks.
Would I like to believe?
As I get closer to the end of my life???
Sure! Why not?

I have no expectations.
I do know a couple of things though.
If there is a Heaven there is sure to be a Hell. I'd rather not go there.

No Sunday school.
I went to a catholic grade school. We started the day with Mass. I was taught by nuns.

How are those type of schools with nuns going today.
I have no idea.
The school I went to has been torn down. The only thing left is the church in my old home town.
Nuns and priests are at an all time low in numbers these days… go figure!

No. I never thought of it as a book that would be read. I remember seeing a statistic once of how many Americans had read it and I was genuinely surprised as I assumed it was just one of those things that are sometimes lying around but no one other than a priest actually does anything with it.
