The Bible was written by primitive towelheads. They only knew their small geographical region, so they thought around 100 animals existed in the world.
The story makes sense then. Someone really could put 100 animals on a boat. -

Three mistakes- it wasn't written by, it was transcribed
- towelhead is a derogatory that refers to arabs. The Bible was transcribed by Hebrews.
- It wasn't built as a boat. The term Ark means box. It was a large reinforced box.

The same Lord who shut the mouths of lions & gave a donkey the ability to speak sent them where they needed to go. Also it wasn't two of every species it was 2 of every genus.

Some little kid who was with his dad at the beach of one of the seas or an ocean asked his dad how all that water got there.
His father, on the spot and not wanting to embarrass himself by saying, "I don't know son. Ask your mother," instead made it all up of the great flood as to what covered the earth with all that water.
OK I am half kidding with the father and son story but I do think they made up a lot of bible stories before we had the knowledge of science and evolution to explain so much today.
