chx was a former poster here. when the troll-fest came she, like many others, left this board.
i admired chx for her knowledge of the bible and for her taking the time to school so many christians in their own religion. she, indeed, put many a 'saint' in their place and i was sorry to see her go.

Chx was very intelligent and really made you think about your views. However, she was also sometimes aggressively condescending even when you agreed to disagree. She seemed very full of herself and loved to show off. She also had an obsessive hate towards Christianity to the point where she would misrepresent data to put it in a bad light. However, she did put forth a lot of valid criticisms of it.

why of course she made you think. this is the entire point and crux of discussion.
and there are certain things that needs be hated in this world, religions being right near the top of the list. she exposed a lot of religions for the sideshows that they are. as i have done over the years. she had the time to expound, where i was busy on my project here.
and we both speak from years of activity within christianity. myself for over twenty five years. oh yes, i was a believer who faithfully brought my bible to high school ranting and raving about jesus this and jesus that.
going as far as marrying a women because the lord told me that this would make me heterosexual.
we know from whence we speak.

Sure if pages of cut and paste and a complete lack of acknowledgement of context meant a thing
"Who cares about context when they still said it?"
My favorite from back in the day
She would bend words in scripture to mean what they didn't all the time
It would be kind of like if i took Steve's post above and just used this part:

and determined that it meant that Steve had a deep love of the Bible and because of that Chx's knowledge of it was a blessing to him when in context we know it means no such thing.
Context matters
Chx believed otherwise and often said as much to me and others
Her massive cut and paste pieces were fun at times though Lots to look through As I've said I found them to be faith affirming when I looked into them. -

yes it was cupid after all that ruled his heart.
for his arrows are stronger than any testament ever written.
and jordan's eyes spawned so many scribblings. oh for an army of eyes as beautiful as his! that i might school the universe in the power of just that bliss.
i shall always remember jordan, as long as there is life in me.

That isn't a Chx quote, particularly since it presupposes
your
definition for "context" (anything which helps harmonize or otherwise resolve a difficult passage in favor of belief; apologetical explanations).

context
of scriptures.
