I asked you over and over for proof of god. Not a "higher being". God.

"Of course when Kitzmiller v. Dover is overturned in the courts present science will have to be revised in order to make the alien answer any good."
So then you admit you lied in your OP.

Of course when Kitzmiller v. Dover is overturned in the courts
Say, that reminds me of the time that Galileo was forced to admit that he was wrong about the solar system!

What?
What does what Graham-167 might or might not have said have to do with Kitzmiller V Dover being overturned and even if it was overturned, why would science need to be re written?
they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. -

Arlon10:
Atheists, do you feel stupid? You never did before, why should now be any different?
I feel stupid almost all the time, but almost never when I have an argument with a religious person.
Kitzmiller v. Dover is an example of religion causing insanity in the society. Intelligent Design is not science. It's religious nonsense without any scientific grounding. A lacklustre and intellectually dishonest effort to bring "science" into religion. Evolution on the other hand is a scientific fact supported by overwhelming evidence such as fossils and DNA. Even Darwin himself had enough evidence for evolution (that's why he released his book) and DNA wasn't found until a century later!
Somehow religious people manage to ignore all of this evidence saying there is no evidence. Religion makes people so dishonest! This is why we atheists are so frustrated. The stupidity and ignorance is so staggering. It is insane to teach ID in schools as an alternative for evolution and it is harmful for the children. Children should be teached to be able to tell apart nonsense like ID from real science. Teached to be critical and question things. -

Atheists, do you feel stupid?
Sometimes. When I listen to Carl Sagan or Neil De Grasse Tyson, for instance, I sometimes feel stupid. When I contemplate the vast amount of things that humanity doesn't know, I sometimes feel stupid.
You never did before
Wrong. See above.
why should now be any different?
I don't feel stupid now, especially. I'm in an Arlon thread. I generally feel quite smart in those.
Okay, maybe the overturning of Kitzmiller v. Dover took you by complete surprise.
Except it hasn't been overturned.
And honestly, so what if it was? The outcome of some court case in a foreign land doesn't really impact me or my beliefs in any way. Courts have gotten things wrong before, no doubt they will again. Scientific matters are not ultimately decided in court, anyway.
Hang in there! Get organized. Organization isn't such a bad thing. It keeps out the contradictions that can tear you down.
That's okay, I am already quite organised and fairly contradiction-free.
In the end after you get your second wind the theists might show you they're still ahead. The possibility that you might lose is there, but get in the game anyway because that's the spirit idea.
It's not really likely that I'll ever "lose" anything when it comes to theism, Arlon. If they ever proved their case - if you ever managed to provide any proof of god, for instance - that would be a win for me.
If I could stop a rapist from raping a child I would. That's the difference between me and god. -

Arlon.. this battle between you and Atheists?
It's all in your mind.
It's sad when one of the brightest minds in the world is wasting his brainpower on stuff like this.
You could have cured Cancer and solved world hunger by now. -

What about you? Ever get that feeling?
I have never had to revise anything on my web site. I have always been able to reconcile what others call "contradictions."
I have never attempted to use "infinity" to explain the existence of things that are clearly not infinite.
However, when the temperature gets above 90° Fahrenheit my brain slows down. I try to avoid saying anything on the record in such conditions.
