When is the last time you bought a dvd or bluray?

I don't streamline so I can only watch movies on TV or disc.
I don't get them very often, maybe 2-4 times a year, because it has to be a movie good enough that I really like and want.
I put quality over quantity and not one of those with hundreds of them.
I think the last time I got DVDs was last summer.

I don't think bargain bin sales are as useful in recouping costs. At that point the retailer is trying to make space for different dvds and make a little money back. It won't be ordering more of the bargain dvds. If my understanding of the economics is right.

I buy the Best Buy steelbooks of every major release I am interested in.
Best Buy barely even sells dvd or bluray anymore. Movie selection has been relegated to one tiny floating rack at the entrance of the store which is also shared with videogame new releases.
Redbox rentals are dead as well. In the last 2 years I have seen someone else use one of them only once. You used to have to stand in line just to return a disc there. Crazy.
What happened to the American Dream? It came true! You're lookin' at it…
