I don't understand the appeal of these "atheist becomes Christian!" or "Christian becomes atheist!" stories. What should matter far more than the conversion itself is the reason BEHIND the conversion. The NDE described by the OP is NOT a good reason. In fact, any "I experienced something strange that I can't explain naturally, so God" is not a good reason. Of course, plenty of people become atheists for equally lazy reasons too.

Even if you're a Mormon, you'd only believe Jesus appeared to two groups of people, hardly "the entire human race".
And "I" and "he" are not interchangeable.
All roads lead to truth if you're willing to travel honestly.
