OT: What defines you as a person?

Not sure I understand the question my genetics define me as 'human', my sentience and reason define me as 'being'
So you're proud of simply 'being' and existing? well, I suppose that can be said for all of us, better than being dead, but do you see that as an achievement? a contribution? is just existing, what you consider your legacy? -

Because I have sort of a voice in my head, the part of me that thinks, that feels, that is aware that I exist at all.

So if you're aware you exist, then you do. That's why you're still here.
